For generations, God’s people have gathered around the Scriptures as the primary means of knowing Him, worshiping Him, and being shaped by His truth. The Bible reveals who God is, who we are, and how He is redeeming the world through Jesus Christ.

 

At Immanuel Baptist Church, we believe regular Bible reading is essential for spiritual growth, yet we also recognize that knowing where to start can be difficult. This Bible Reading Plan is designed to help our church family read God’s Word together in a clear, manageable way.

 

This plan moves us through the Minor Prophets, the Gospels, and the Major Prophets, highlighting God’s promises, their fulfillment in Christ, and His ongoing work among His people. Each day includes one chapter of Scripture, encouraging steady, thoughtful engagement with God’s Word throughout the year.

 

As you read, consider these questions:

• What does this passage teach me about God?

• What does it reveal about humanity and my own heart?

• How should this truth shape the way I live?

• How does this passage guide my prayers?
